I'm a year older today, and to celebrate today, I would be uploading two DIY skin care recipes this week. It has been a long time since I did anything like this, so after scrolling through the web, getting reviews as well as compiling these posts from some of my favourite blogs and yes, I have tried some at home and its something I would continue doing. So here are five fruits which can be very beneficial to you. These recipes are cheap, easy to get and use. Here, they are:

1. LEMON
Contains bleaching agents that help in cleansing the skin, removing dead skin cells and impurities. It also helps in getting rid of blemishes and dull complexion effectively. A combination of lemon and potato juice, honey or tomato paste helps make the best natural skin treating for fairness, blemish removal and is simple to make. Using one potato and one lemon, peel and grate the potatoes to turn it into a smooth pulp. Squeeze out juice from lemon and add it to the pulp mix well and apply on clean face. Let it sit for 20 minutes and then wash off with water. Do the same with the tomatoes and honey.

2. BANANA
This fruit is rich in vitamin C and B6, which helps in maintaining skin suppleness and improving skin complexion. Banana can be used with milk or almond oil which helps in lightening the dull skin and protects it against harmful UV rays of the sun and improves blog circulation throughout the skin. Mash the bananas into a smooth paste and mix with either milk or almond oil. Apply the mixture and wash after 20 minutes. 3. CUCUMBER The cucumber juice and pulp act as an effective natural remedy for improving the complexion, removing pigmentation, blemishes and scars.
