Masks are usually used for used for instant treatments. They are usually mixed with liquids such as oils, eggs, juices and so on. They are very effective and can be used to lighten complexion, fade spots and smoothen the skin within a week. Home made masks are quite inexpensive and can do wonders for your skin.  These are some of my favourite recipes and I use some of them quite regularly. I hope you love them.

Recommended: Imfrom Honey Mask

1 avocado 
Half a tablespoon lemon juice 
1 egg white

_Mash the avocado to form a smooth paste_. _Mix with egg white and the lemon juice_. _Apply to skin and leave to dry for about 20 minute before rinsing off_.

1 tablespoon cucumber juice 
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon turmeric powder 1tablespoon glycerine (optional) 

Mix all the ingredients well. Apply on your face, using cottonballs to apply around and under your eyes. Leave for 15 minutes,wash with cold water.


Lemon Cheesecake Whitening Mask
2 tablespoons honey
4 teaspoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed or bottled)
 3 teaspoons plain or Greek-style yogurt 
1 egg white
Yield: 4 ounces
In this mask, the antibacterial properties of honey are boosted with the antifungal and whitening properties of lemon. Both lemon and yogurt work as excellent natural peels, helping fade postacne marks. Egg white adds proteins that help strengthen the skin’s own defenses, while lemon and vanilla create a comforting, soothing cocoon while you linger with the mask in your bath. You can store this mask in the fridge and use it up within one week.

1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until the mask thickens.
2. Apply to clean, dry face and let set for 15 minutes. Gently wash off with warm water.

Anti-aging mask

4 Tsp Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tsp of Raw Honey

1 Drop of Frankincense Essential Oil

1 Drop of Lemon Essential Oil

5 Drops Rose Hip Oil

2 Tsp of Bentonine Clay

2 Tsp of Kelp Powder

Combine all-apple cider vinegar, raw honey, rose hip and spread over your clean face, rinse after 15 minutes.

Full body mask
1 handful finely crushed almonds 
5 Tbsps uncooked oatmeal
2 tsp. brown sugar 
2 Tbsps honey
1/4 Cup hot water
Mix all ingredients to form a paste. Slather on (especially on back and chest areas) and leave for 10 minutes. Massage in; rinse off.
