DIY MOISTURIZING HONEY BODY WASH

4 Jun 2017

Most people are unaware that honey can do a lot of things apart from medicinal purposes.

For the skin-it is a scar removal, has moisturizing properties, makes the skin smoother, repairs and rejuvenates the skin.

For the hair- it has great conditioning properties that can be used to control hair breakage and strengthen the hair.
Ever since, I used it to get rid of burn scars on my legs, I have been hooked on to it and it has become a staple in my house. I also mix two teaspoon of honey with one egg white once a month to treat my hair. My hair has very much improved from being dry and coarse to fuller and healthier than ever. .

Recently, I included it to my exfoliating bath wash recipe and the results were so pleasing. My skin feels much smoother and I am so loving it. You can order the materials from our online store and make yours at home.

Ingredients

100ml Castile soap
1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon lemon glycerin
1 teaspoon frankincense oil
1 teaspoon citrus Fragrance
3 tablespoons unadulterated honey
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions
Mix them all in a bowl and transfer to a bottle.
This has become one of my favourite recipes, as it contains moisturizing/exfoliating properties which makes the skin glow.It can be made at the comfort of your home with the aid of the kit (a recipe which contains instructions on how to make the wash, is also included). For those with dry skin or those looking for a natural body wash, then this is a great alternative.

How do you use honey? I would love to hear from you.
