RICE WATER FOR SKIN CARE

Do you throw away the milky/ starchy liquid that comes out of the rice when cooking?
Stop there!!!
You are actually throwing away a skin saver.
I can actually see some people saying 'here she goes again'.
I actually came across this and I was pleasantly surprised at the results I got, after trying it out. Hehehe.
So I proceeded to try it out. Here are the steps and the results I got.
Simply parboil two milk cups of rice.
Don't wash it,pour in raw rice into a pot of cold water,add three cups of water and boil together.
Allow it to simmer for 10 minutes and drain or sieve.
Apply the starchy or milky water, using cotton wool all over the face and leave on for up to 10mins.
Wash off using warm water.
You would notice the effects immediately. Apply moisturiser onto the face after washing off. It helps in closing the skin pores as well as eradicating black heads and white heads.

Its now part of my weekly regimen. So next time,when cooking rice,do not throw away the water rather use it to take care of your skin.You should try it out and see how it works.
